Private sessions or Semi-Private sessions
In a Pilates 1-1, you can expect a bespoke programme especially designed for you and your needs.  In a Semi Private session you will use the same equipment as in a 1-1 Session but you can share it with one or two of your friends or family (saving on cost).  With only 2 or 3 people in the class, I will still be able to give individual cues and corrections, which will definitely improve the results.

Group Sessions
Group sessions are recommended for those who do not have any serious injuries or for those who simply enjoy social interaction of a group class.  Groups are combined based on individuals ability to ensure everyone gets the safest, most effective workout. Exercises are broken down from the original mat to make them safe and achievable, with the use of additional equipment such as balls and bands, to help assist the movement or to encourage more resistance.

Group classes run for 5-8 weeks, during term time only and are payable in advance, non-refundable or transferable.

Levels
I currently teach a number levels of Pilates Matwork – Beginners-Improvers, Improvers-Intermediate and Intermediate-Advanced classes.

Beginners – Suitable for those who have never tried Pilates before or still struggle to grasp the concept of neutral pelvis or scapular stability.

Improvers – Suitable for those who understand and maintain neutral and scapular stability in different positions e.g. standing, lying, four point kneeling etc…

Intermediates – Suitable for those who understand and maintain neutral and scapular stability in different positions e.g. standing, lying, four point kneeling etc, have a good, sound understanding of Pilates and are wishing to further challenge themselves. To improve on their skills and strength, by learning and performing more advanced exercises.

All equipment and mats will be supplied, you’re welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer. Please wear comfortable clothing, i.e. a leotard, leggings or gym clothes with a reasonable close-fitting T-shirt or top. You can choose to wear socks or not, but they can be useful, so please bring a pair with you. Before your first session, you will need to complete and return an Enrolment Form, where you can give details of any injuries or conditions to ensure that you exercise safely. Please look in the Enrol section for a form to complete and return online or to print off and return in person or post.

We use a variety of small equipment in my classes – NeuSpines, Foam Rollers, Pilates Circles, Toning Balls, Swiss Balls, Soft Balls, Triad Balls, Bands, Spikey Balls, Wobble Cushions and Myofascial Trigger Release Balls!
