Private sessions or Semi-Private sessions

In a Pilates 1-1, you can expect a bespoke programme especially designed for you and your needs.  In a Semi Private session you will use the same equipment as in a 1-1 Session but you can share it with one or two of your friends or family (saving on cost).  With only 2 or 3 people in the class, I will still be able to give individual cues and corrections, which will definitely improve the results.

1-2-1’s and small private classes are currently available with Claire Crowley & Beverley Nicholas (just send me an email for this) For a 1-2-1, they would be £50 for an hour and are subject to availability. Small Private classes would be more, dependent on amount of people. Fee is paid directly to the teacher. 24 hours cancellation notice is required.

Beverley also offers private classes using the Reformer, Wunda Chair and small equipment – these are suitable for 1, 2 or 3 people at a time.

Pilates Mat Work

Group Sessions
Group sessions are recommended for those who do not have any serious injuries or for those who simply enjoy social interaction of a group class.  Groups are combined based on individuals ability to ensure everyone gets the safest, most effective workout. Exercises are broken down from the original mat to make them safe and achievable, with the use of additional equipment such as balls and bands, to help assist the movement or to encourage more resistance.

Levels
I currently teach a number levels of Pilates Matwork – Beginners-Improvers, Improvers-Intermediate and Intermediate-Advanced classes.

Beginners – Suitable for those who have never tried Pilates before or still struggle to grasp the concept of neutral pelvis or scapular stability.

Improvers – Suitable for those who understand and maintain neutral and scapular stability in different positions e.g. standing, lying, four point kneeling etc…

Intermediates – Suitable for those who understand and maintain neutral and scapular stability in different positions e.g. standing, lying, four point kneeling etc, have a good, sound understanding of Pilates and are wishing to further challenge themselves. To improve on their skills and strength, by learning and performing more advanced exercises.

All equipment and mats will be supplied

We use a variety of small equipment in my classes – NeuSpines, Foam Rollers, Pilates Circles, Toning Balls, Swiss Balls, Soft Balls, Triad Balls, Bands, Spikey Balls, Wobble Cushions and Myofascial Trigger Release Balls!
